Hi i recently installed sims 2, It installed successfully and tried running the program, It said please insert the correct CD-Rom and try again, so i put disc 1 in it, That problem went away but now i am getting this error "Unspecified Error" Why is this?
I don't know what that means but I can offer some advice: probably the easiest way to resolve it would be to call their technical support line. Sorry I can't give you anything else to work with :(
I've had this problem on Windows Vista, you right click on the Sims 2 Icon and you click run as administrator. This fixed my problem, but I don't really know what to do if your using XP.
