Simple Team Fortress 2 question

Hello friends.

I'm thinking of getting TF2 for my PC, and was just wondering if many people are still playing. I would hate to go buy a on-line only game and find out no one plays anymore.

I have the Orange Box for my 360, but the last couple times I played, there were very few games, and most of them were laggy as hell (but that might have been cause of my crappy Internet at the time) also first person shooters are just better on PCs anyway =)

I use it to find all my servers. It's accurate, give or take perhaps 5 or 6 players. Never joined an empty server or anything.

Now that his question is out of the way, I'd like to know how many of you are getting your achievements legitly?

I'm at 16/20 achievements needed for the last Pyro item, and i've been doing them all legitly.

Thanks for all the good info guys. Thought I would drop by with a follow up.

I got the game, love it!!!! Thousands of people and servers so Im happy. And I just got my first Pyro weapon tonight...the flare gun. Havnt started on medic yet. Im not much of a healer =P would rather blow people up lol
