Since the last setup thread was locked, we need another. Making a bit of tweak to the forumla, since there was no rating in the last thread I've decided to change it up a bit. Basiclly in this thread, we post pics of our rigs, battlestations, new purchases, anything of interest basiclly just as long as its PC related. In this thread, we will also answer questions that don't require a thread, so that could mean questions about cable management, monitor placement etc.

It would have been nicer if you tidied it up, you should especially get that HP sauce out of sight! :P

I think I'm going to post a picture of my setup soon.

Nice setup, FaustArp. It demolishes consolites' argument that sofa-gaming is only possible on consoles. :P

Opened up my case to take this picture and I can believe how dusty it is. I will clean it later I promise. I'm out most of the day getting more tattoos.

I can't f*cking believe it. Yeah the setup is a mess, however I don't spend time looking inside the case. Do think about putting it all under water cooling though. Then I can remove most of the fans which are creating the wiring mess.

HAF cases are popular. its a shame we have no mods in this section, and then they come and kill a thread that's been long standing. go figure. @mrmarrero. that's stunning.

Yeah, HAF cases you gotta be tidy with them. Maybe because my room is so clean and I live in such an enclosed space, I don't get that much dust like you guys. @Jiggly - Obviously you care how it looks like because your rig looks very nice. :PElann2008

thanks, but I mean just throwing all the cables in isn't quicker

new cases are pretty simply, I think anyone with 45 minuts start to finish and has built a pc before can make theirs look around this and hopefully better.

Cyberdot

They should make me a mod. I would sticky this thread so hard. Hardware porn is nice. Someday I'll have the 900D with lights and corded cables and the whole shebang and then everyone would worship it. Until something new comes out, of course. :P

My current:

Not in photo are my Mac Mini and old Toshiba laptop.

I'm tempted to upgrade to an AMD FX-8350 and AMD 7970 (total for those plus motherboard is $665 at newegg.com). But, Crysis 3 was the most demanding game I have in store and I already finished it on High with my current GTX 560 Ti. So, it's really just the upgrade itch talking and not a real need. I can hold off some more.

I used to have one. Hated it. It was a dust vacuum. My Define R3 barely lets any dust in and is so much nicer looking.

subwoofers omnidirectional dont matter where there located in the room.

Back against a wall or corner is optimal. BOOM BOOM. i have a car sub with 20 watts going to it in my closet and it shakes the house. set it in the middle of the room and its blah

To all of you running multi-monitor set ups... How do you stretch the wallpaper to fit nicely over both monitors? I got a 1920*1200 + 1920*1080 and I was hoping I could get either a 3840*1200 or 3840*1080 res monitor, but no matter what I do it looks botched :(

Well, his sub is against a wall.

The only thing odd to me is the sub being at ear level. Subs are usually down on the floor. I use mine as a foot-rest. He He.

Subs are most definitely better on the floor, especially if you have wooden flooring.

That is...interesting. Uhm, I don't really have anything to say. You don't happen to have a hooker chained to the opposite wall, do you?
