Cool!

That GPU should be very silent, isn't it?

Ignore my figurine here lol
I finally got around to finishing my settings for this pc.
Might go ryzen next year when they announce the new stuff.
My cpu is dated but still does what I want, so I'm not complaining.

It's a 4790k clocked at 4.9GHz 1.33volts on air too. It was delidded.
I bought it for $100. Bought that 1070 used too. It reaches 2160mhz.
My newest buy was this case about a month ago. NZXT I love it.
Only thing I hate is the two fans it comes with, they are pretty loud.
I plan to replace them. But otherwise this case does a good job with air.

I'll probably pick up a new 1440p monitor at some point down the road.
Gonna have one up myself and see if I can keep up or pass Horgen's rig :P
Just kidding.

It's still an awesome rig Kitty. As for Ryzen, rumors say AMD will be in talks about Ryzen 4000 series somewhere next year and I'm still using my 2700X. Not fast but it gets the job done for me while gaming in 1440p.

Yep I saw a vid saying that it could be talked about/hinted early next year and I would assume it would come out later.
I was debating for the longest whether or not to grab a 2700x. I don't need the fastest cpu out, but I want a good/solid one.
I also want to pick up an RTX card at some point. As long as you aren't having trouble and getting the fps you want/like I say its good in my book.

Damn, those are some nice OC results on both the CPU and GPU. That 4790K must still do pretty well for gaming at 4.9 Ghz.

Yes and I love it. It's not best of course, but eh I'm happy with it and it does everything I want.
I was debating on saving up for a 2700x at the time and a friend was like hey do you want this 4790k for $100?
I looked up prices and I was like that is pretty good. He had a delidding kit so I was like can you do that before sending it and he was like sure. I had no idea what this was going to reach tbh lol.
I was still using a 4670k/GTX970 and it was showing me that I needed an upgrade. I was gonna get a 2700x and a used 1070. That was the plan anyways.
Then maybe consider going the RTX route once money was better.
The CPU was $100 and this GPU which I purchased in March back when the 1660 ti was getting the spotlight and everyone wanted the 1070 cause it was around $200 ish. I got this one for $175.

@kitty: It’s a decent rig. Don’t play any to CPU intensive games now though :P

New TV has arrived...

4K/120hz HDR with G-Sync and HDMI 2.1. :)

Not sure if I am going to move my LG B6 to my bedroom or sell it.

@BassMan: Need a kidney?

Just wanted somewhere to post, I'm happy. Got this for my new rig I'm building for $30. It's $350 everywhere else. I wish I bought another just cause. Sold out super quick though.

hehe :)

The LG OLEDs are on sale right now. I got the 65" C9 for $2400 CAD. Still a lot of money, but a good price for what many regard as the best TV for gaming and overall picture quality.
