Making millions of dollars on steam every month I'm surprise they aren't using that money to purchase game studios to make more games from what I heard they bought one but it was own by like two guys.

No because then we'll get two games per studio and we'll never hear from them again while DOTA 2 remains a "beta" for another 10 years and Half Life 3 will get delayed to 2035 at which point they'll have to delay again to port it to Source 10.

I actually laughed at this. Anyway, I just can't get into Dota 2.

I'll take uncomfortable truths for 1000, Alex.

Valve can buy game studios to work on other games so they can focus on Half Life 3

You mean like they did when they bought the developers of Left 4 Dead and DOTA. Yes clearly they focused on Half Life 3 so much so they have literally released new games in every franchise but Half Life.

No they don't need more.  It's fine where it is.  Buying up studios causes harm more than good a lot of times

This would directly equate to more support for gaming on Linux. I am all for it.
