Right now my mind is about to explode.Bioshock just simply refuses to go above 60hz no matter what i do.I googled for the last 3 hours and have seen everybody with a CRT and vista have this problem and F***ing MS doesnt seem to do anything. But it seems that 32-bit users are getting that refresh lock work for them.Unfortunately there is no such software it seems for 64-bit.

I dont want to play in xp and DX9 but i do have the retail version of ultimate so i can get back to 32-bit but REALLY is there no way with this cuz if i do go back to 32-bit that will just be incredibly SAD!!

And can somebody please let me know if other DX10 games have in-game refresh rate settings cuz if they have then well i may just settle with playing bioshock in XP but no way if thats going to be the case with every DX10 game.

It's not the only solution, there are other games out there to play other than Bioshock. Many games, not just Bioshock have issues with a 64bit operating system.

I can play the game in DX9 without any problems if i want to cuz i also have XP.Do you think it will be worth to wait for a fix to this or should i just play it in XP.I do have plenty of other games to play.

Ya i knew about the 64-bit issues that's why i went double boot. However i really didnt think that even DX10 games wil have problems with it.

Just switch back to XP because honestly its only if you look really close that you can tell the difference between dx10 and dx9 in Bioshock IMO.

theres no reason to switch back to xp here...your eye cant tell the difference between 60hz and 75hz anyways.
