Well i got my 32inch 720p/1080i lcd tv for my bedroom along with my Logitech Z 5500 Speakers and i have a 360, Ps3 and a Wii along withan Xbox, So pretty much i can play any game from this gen or last gen for consoles and i have both handhelds with the Ds which can play all Gba games and ive alsogot a Psp.

I also got a good range of games, Ive got a couple of games per system , I have 25 for my 360, 100+ for my Xbox, 30+ for My Ps2 which is a Ps3, 10+ games for Gc which is a Wii and 3 games for my Wii,15+ games each for both my handhelds but now imthinking about getting a gaming pc, I havent even played all the games ive got and all the games coming out will make it even harder, So i saywill extra things on the pc worth it in the end.- Btw im on a laptop atm which can play games like Fear which i got to run pretty well and havnt tested it with that many games but Quake 4 was the most system taxing and i think it could run onhigh but anything above that made it worse than unplayable.

the items you have listed should give you a cracking system but as already mentioned I would get the corsair PSU as its worth getting a decent PSU for quality gear... As to wether you need a pc thats up to you really, I must admit I dont think I could split my self with all those consoles and the laptop you have. But if you have the money and the time then why not :)

Doesn't sound like you're short of cash so why not, especially if you like FPS, RTS, western RPGs, MMORPGS, online shooters, simulators or TBS.

Seems like you don't really have a maximum budget.

I can tell you want something decent, if you want the best forget about the e6850 and get a quad core qx6850.

Also get 2 x 1gb ddr2 1066 ram, NOT 667.

Ditch the 22" CMV monitor, CMV is budget, get yourself a Samsung 226BW 22" 2ms 1000:1.

I have a few suggestions: -I wouldn't go with anything less than a 700W PSU nowadays, just to be on the safe side. Of course, checking how much current the rails can supply is just as important, or even moreso. -Get a SB X-Fi XtremeMusic or better sound card. Or maybe even the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude, if it ever releases. -You might want to consider just getting a E6420 or E6600 and overclocking it to E6850 levels. I also would have thrown in the Q6600 into the equation if it weren't for the fact that despite the supposed July 22 price drop, its price has only risen to previous levels, at least on Newegg. -Is that DDR2-667 you're using? I don't think that's a good move, since the Core 2 E6xx0/Q6x00 CPUs run on a 1066 MHz FSB. Therefore, you want DDR2-1066 so that your RAM runs at the same speed as your FSB. Finally, and most importantly, it sounds like you're getting a pre-built. I highly advise you to just buy the seperate parts from sites like Newegg and build the thing yourself, as it's cheaper that way...unless you don't want to deal with the hassle of building a computer. (But isn't building your own high-end computer the fun part?)

Get rid of that floppy drive and replace it with a card reader.

Floppies belong in the 80's.

Floppy drives are still useful, if only for creating boot disks and playing 1980s games you happen to have hard copies of rather than disk images. Why not get a combination floppy drive/card reader unit instead? Then, you get the best of both worlds with just one 3.5" bay!

If someone is building/buying a new pc I see no reason why he/she shouldn't use vista.

Looks like a very nice pc (although make sure you get a good reputable psu)

But your saying that you barely have time for all the games you already have and now you wanna get into pc gaming, if i were you i would finish with what i have first because if you actually get into pc gaming you'll probably be with your pc 24/7 lol

If you like shooters or RTS it's worth getting a PC since those can't be played properly on consoles but otherwise I don't see any point in you getting a PC since like you said yourself, you barely have enough time to play all your games as it is now.
