Selecting a game.

I just got my first gaming pc, but I totally forgot the games. At the moment, I need one pc game that will last for a about a month until I have the money to buy another. I really would prefer a shooter to show off my graphics card. Do any of you have any suggestions?

Check out The Witcher, SWAT 4 (old game but still very good), Crysis, Crysis Warhead, The Orange Box, Sins of a Solar Empire, and finally Painkiller is a very very fun game.CrazyyyDylan

I was thinking the same thing about the CPU. But it has genuinely surprised me. Every demo that I have played, including Crysis, has allowed me to select maximum settings with absolutely no problems. I only play at 1440x900, so that may be it.

Get Sins if you like RTS.

You should definitely get The Orange Box.
