Hey guys,

It's been awhile... Anyway,

I've decided to buy a Joystick, mainly for flying in Battlefield 2.

It was suggested that I buy one of the Saitek Cyborg Joysticks. What do you guys know about these?

Which model should I buy, are they sturdy, etc.

Any helpfull tips would be great, and also... Does anyone know where in Australia they can be purchased and a rough $AUD price?

Thanks.

I used to use a Cyborg 3D Gold USB, and it was good for a budget stick. It had a bit of stiction around the middle due to the centering mechanism, though, which interfered with making fine adjustments. I've since moved on to elaborate Thrustmaster/CH Products setups, but they would be considered severe overkill for something like Battlefield 2 (not to mention costing several times more). Anyway, a Cyborg Evo should be good for BF2 flying. There's also the X-45 and X-52 if you want full-blown HOTAS, but BF2 doesn't really need a lot of buttons and switches for flight control.
