I want to know if I could run GTA V with the current stats my computer has.

Intel Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz With 8 Gigabytes of RAM and Memory.

The graphics are AMD Radeon HD 6490M - 1 GB GDDR5 SDRAM

If anyone could help me, that would be great.

You need to spend the money and build a PC. I see too often people go buy these laptops for big bucks and they aren't very powerful as they think.

@Diddies: I understand that, but I'm not able to build a PC, I just want to know if I can run the game.

Well, if you are spending big bucks on a laptop, it is going to be good. The people that buy cheap shit and expect it to be good is the problem.

Well I mean they spend $700-$1000 at best buy and see nvidia graphics logo and i7 and think they have a big gaming laptop. That money could be used more wisely in getting a desktop for gaming purposes. Obviously the GPU market is crazy right now, but pre-built desktops is definitely doable at that price point.

@toastier: The people here are not helping you. Yes you can run it. Maybe with medium graphics at 40 50 fps.

Gta 5 has vert flexable settings, keep lowering its resolution and settings until you find it playable.

Youll find it playable before you cant lower settings anymore

GTA V can also be run in DX9 and DX10 mode. Perhaps, that may increase framerates a bit.
