It would have to be subscription, thats the only way i see, that they could generate some a sort of profit from doing this. and it seems reasonable. Windows 8 probably will cost the same price as a Xbox 360. Where I live windows 7 costs the same as a 360.

Well, they have Giano, but I can't see how they're going to do it. The architecture is too different and there's no way they'll allow recompiling on our PCs.

I don't think the rumour is true.

Only thing worth getting would be the exclusives like Forza or Gears.

I'm betting most PC gamers have a PC and console so PC gamers wouldn't buy very many 360 games cause they played most of them already.

The typical console game sucks or has a PC port which may be better. Either way hell no.

If it's cheap, I'd probably do it for at least a month or two so that I could play some exclusive games.

If its tied into a Live subscription, I wont care, already have one. If its costs more...then thats where it gets iffy.

Otherwise maybe, though many games on the 360 have a pc counterpart that is better... But 360 still has exclusives that are not available on pc.. (no where near the amount Nintendo, or the PS3 have) but still some!

Though I doubt I will be getting Windows 8. When I build my next rig, It will be largely for making Music... A brand new OS is usually always a pain for drivers, and compatibility issues (especially when dealing with MUSIC) So this prolly won't even be an option for me anyway.

I remember this rumour years ago right before E3, that was actually really funny because it was all over system wars. It won't happen but if it did I would keep my Live active if it meant I could play Halo, Gears and Forza on my PC with some AA and AF, but there are so many reasons it will never happen...

However even if it was free. Would you want to play a unoptimized game low fps, bad resolution... With horrible controls, bad ui that is not designed for the PC?

It would kinda be like a console port... Excet worse then the worst console ports. So is it worth it?

Anyway no. I wont use GFWL and if its forced into W8 i wont use it either.

Well it depends on a few things. Are there any benefits? Would this allow us to enable such things as anti Aliasing or higher resolution textures. At the very least would we be able to use keyboard and mouse? I dont see how this would be possible as we would have an aiming advantage in competitive multiplayer. Other than that I dont see why it couldnt happen as M$ make most their money from the games not the console.

Guys why WOULDN'T you do this. XBL is less than $5 a month, I would pay that instantly to play 360 games on my PC, and if you can't afford that, I don't know how you can afford to game on a PC anywayLOLChris360
