***REVIEW*** NVIDIA Drivers 182.06 VS 181.22! [Up To 25% Performance Increase]

Well when NVIDIA released the 182.06 drivers the other day they said that compared to 181.22 it would deliver:

# Up to 8% performance boost in Fallout 3 in high resolutions with enabled FSAA.
# Up to 10% performance boost in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
# Up to 9% performance boost in Half-Life 2 in high resolutions with enabled FSAA.
# Up to 11% performance boost in Left 4 Dead in high resolutions with enabled FSAA.
# Up to 10% performance boost in Race Driver: GRID in high resolutions with enabled FSAA.

Now many people believe that NVIDIA would just be spouting **** like a lot of companies would, so X-Bit have done their own review comparing the two driver versions...HERE, and this is the summary of their results:

As you can see you really do get a good performance boost for FREE by upgrading your drivers.....Upto %24 better with Left4Dead!

This my friends is why i will stick with NVIDIA when i next upgrade my video card.

Not only for those reasons but for cuda,physx, and alot of games perfer nvidia cards too. 04dcarraher

I have always thought NVidia were good at driver optimization. A 25% improvement is very impressive. I doubt I'll notice the 1-2% in FO3, is it translates so something like 1 FPS.belboz

No Thanks, I'd rather pay much less for better performance than "waiting" for miracle drivers, when most of the time I'll get them too anyway.nintendog66

Where drivers improve in some areas they more than likely will do poorly in others.gamer082009
