Quick question to all gta IV mod users. What's the best looking ICE enhancer? And should i use the old ones for 1.0.4.0 or do the ones designed for latest patch work properly?

Perosnally I hate all those icenhancer mods, way more trouble than they've been worth.  To get it with the least amount of problems you need to 1040 version of the game, which is also the worst performing version of the game.

the latest patch for the game makes it run like butter.  Old patches, combined with icenhancer (which isnt just an ENB, its a total texture replacement too) kills the framerate and makes artifacts.  I use a basic enb with my steam version, think it was called chinagreenelvis enb or something

iCEnhancer 1.35 I found was the best version. He started scaling back the mod after that. Check out this video for what it looked like

Seriously though, I haven't spent much time on it yet. Don't like that you can't chooses loadouts, but I like the fact the guns don't suck like they did in Blood Money

Guns are really fun to use in this game

Saints Row: The Third

I tried killing two birds with one stone: Starting a gang fight while streaking. Don't. It doesn't work. You don't get credit for just being nude, and you can't fight while doing the activity.

Skyrim

The environments are quite beautiful, but I'm having trouble finding people to fight. It seems like the developers are going in the wrong direction. I actually went to a location with a map marker (a 5+ minute trip), killed ONE enemy, and "cleared" it. 

The world does look amazing, especially in the snow or the large lake surrounded by huge mountains.

(And no, the outfit is not a mod)

Tomb Raider

The story is a bit overdramatic (and it's hind of hard to watch a "journey" if the character is escaping death the instant you start the story) but the combat is quite fun. And, well, Lara has a great rack.

Slows down in spots though, which is annoying because this game is also out for consoles. I tried locking it at 30 fps, but it feels horrible.

On June 17, a NASA satellite spotted Alaska almost completely unobscured by clouds, which is a very rare occasion. Open in a new tab to see the huge image (6000 pixels wide). Due to a 15 mb limit at Minus, it's actually just a little bit smaller than the real full size image, which can be downloaded from the official NASA page here.

Arma 3 beta build is out, decided to take some of the new vehicles out for a stroll around the island.

Love the stealth helicopter, very close to the one used in Zero Dark Thirty.

Some more TLoU. This game is outstanding.

 I came back looking for this because i'm pretty sure I saw some "The Last of Us" screenshots. I'm so jelly. I actually thought about buying a PS3 again.. as I was sifting through Craigslist and eBay. Cheapest I was able to find used PS3 slim wasa $150. I've done it before lol a long time ago where I find a nice deal for $135 on Craigslist because the guy had two PS3s lying around. I thought about youtube'ing it but I can't find any super high quality ones. Anyways, I would rather play this game first-hand. Shucks!

Yeah I bought a PS3 again JUST for this game (among others now) and I don't regret it TBH. I hated dropping all that cash on a new system but with PS+ and what not it's a great time to get back into PS3 gaming and catch up on what I missed

Oh and more TLoU shots for the sake of it. I spoilered the last ones cos it might give away some nice locations you want to experience first hand. they're not story spoilers but just in case someone bitches at me :P

I think they're just slightly out of focus. The camera has some DOF that blurs stuff close to the camera

I dunno if they changed something recently in CoT or Project ENB (realistic preset), but it looks amazing and runs really great all the time now.

I've installed the lite versions of most outdoors texture mods since my GPU only has 2GB Vram, and I was constantly reaching the limit with the full res versions. I saw bugs appearing, textures not loading etc.

You could try it with the lite versions as well. They still look much better than vanilla or even the official HD pack
