Recover a document in Word?

I just deleted a bunch of stuff out of a document, and like a dummy I hit save instead of save as. Is there a way to recover my original?

If you havent closed the document, hit edit undo.

cant you go to edit and change it. i dont think a save deletes the edit options...

if you choose the help option on word, and search for recovery or document in the box, i think you could try to find the file by following some of the instructions. Listen to the little paper clip guy. hes not as cool as microsoft bob, but he helps.
