Basically I would use WeGame to record games I play. I got an update for WeGame and now I find I can't record any of the games I play and was wondering if anyone else has gotten this problem?

Also i was wondering is there any other recording programs out there that are similar to WeGame? I know of Fraps but I hear it generates a lot of frame rate dippage when running and/or recording.

Thanks for any help/advice :)

Hello,

You should use FRAPS + Sony Vegas or Windows Movie Maker.

Because at WeGame you need to pay to record HD.

Best of regards,

okei.

Yeah, you also need to pay for fraps if you don't want to have a huge watermark and max 30 seconds of recording.

Fraps, dxtory, playclaw, growler guncam(if on XP), Wegame (small low video clips but 100% free) etc...... For best options... dxtory is unstoppable... For simplicity its between fraps and playclaw...

If you don't want to pay a few bucks for FRAPS then use XFires' in game video recording. It has the ability to record at HD resolutions/quality.

Shouldn't be. XFire saves both RAW and Codec Compressed [default XFire codec is H.264 I believe] versions of videos you record, you would use the RAW AVI file in Adobe Premiere. You can view the raw files in your Recorded Videos tab of XFire under Local Videos I believe. In my eyes the full version of FRAPS is still the best though.
