reasons why it's worth to be a PCgamer in 2008

Where did the list go? Gamesopot forums is giving me some real big troubles that bassicaly made me unable to update this thread. I've also tried other forum, but spambots flooded it with porn :D So I finally did what many people told me I should have done long time ago: I've moved the lists to blod. You can find them here:

I can't wait for Dropship and JA 3. Enemy in Sight also seems amazing, although it's mostly the dev name that made me interested. Mafia was such a brilliant game.

I hope Sins of the Solar Empire turns out good.

Also, the military vehicle in "Bohemia Interactive's 'GAME 2" is the Avenger.  I actually drove one of those in the Army for three years :)  I might buy the game just to relieve some of my "glory days" :P  Do you know where the game takes place?  If it is in the middle east I would be in heaven!

That just sounds wrong in so many ways :P 

Be prepared to add a few from Blizzard VERY soon. Including the next WoW expansion.

I think I will be able to handle it on my own, but if i have problems I will let you know. And keep the 2007 edition floated. I will soon update it with link to this one and till the end of 2007 it needs to stay floated :)

Likewise, though I really wonder about Dropship being released in 2008 (or at all, really...seemed rather sketchy).

 I hope the Russian devs (who, as it turns out, never laid their hands on Silent Storm) can make a quality JA3 (not expecting something that will live up to JA2).  

Too many of those multiplatform games would be alot more promising if they were PC exclusive.  And why are the Mafia developers making a tactical FPS?  Like we don't have enough of those :|  Give me Mafia 2, damnit!

From what I hear Enemy in Sight is supposed to be similar to OPF....A high realism shooter.

If you get a chance give this program a whirl: http://www.download.com/TextPad/3000-2352_4-10303640.html?tag=lst-0-1 it's basically Notepad with HTML support and a lot of other new features. It lets me copy/paste right into GS without any hitches.

Infinity: Quest for Earth is going to be great. Nothing quite like exploring an entire galaxy...I noticed that it is on both the 2007 and 2008 lists.

It's always like that, but on the other hand many good 2006 games got delayed to 2007, so it all evens out in the end 

All the more reason why I need a new gaming rig ASAP. I want to make more money! Someone give me more money! :PTheUberKnight

I'm putting a band-aid on mine to squeeze a few more years out of it before getting a whole new rig.  New rigs are indeed expensive.
