I will soon be purchasing a new gaming laptop and will spend between $1000-$2000 US dollars. Alienware is the first name that comes to mind.

Is Alienware a good purchase or are there better options?

Thanks.

The latest Alienwares have good build quality, but are still pretty bulky.

IMO, if you can afford it, the new Razer Blade is what you should get.

I have an ASUS which is okay. But, future gaming laptops I buy will probably be Sager.

I like those new ultrabook gaming laptops that are out now. It has the look of a ultrabook with the power to play most games at high settings. I just don't like the look of anything bulky like a msi notebook. The new ones with the Gtx 860m are awesome.

Someone recommended this laptop...

http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GT60-Dominator-424-9S7-16F442-424-15-6-Inch/dp/B00IMTQ5G4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1397774810&sr =1-1&keywords=MSI+GT60+870

Thoughts? Can I do better? Is a 17" screen too big or is 15" fine?
