PS4 controller not working with DS4Windows

When I plug the ps4 controller in it changes my sound to headphones and makes me click a bunch of settings. It only works the first time I plug it in then I have to delete all my usb devices to get it to work again the next time or DS4windows doesn't see it plugged in

dont need dswindows really, steam has native support
