ok im playing call of duty UO and am only getting like 60 fps while using a 8800 gts intel core 2 duo and 2g memory... tell me how can i get it higher? and one more question: if i have bad internet then doees the fps go lower?
Yes you can have lower FPS because of bad internet connection - that's lag (the game can't communicate in the same speed it is run at, so it has to lower the information you recieve, so some frames are skipped).
60 FPS is probably because the game enabled VSYNC which makes sure the FPS is constant, and there won't be any screen-tearing because of too much fps (yes it happens).
If it bothers you, you can get higher by disabling VSYNC - or in the control panel of the video card or in the options in the game.
