I am trying to get a friends 3570K and his ram to run at 1:1. So far i have gotten it as close as 1:4 by simply turning the speed of the ram to 1066 but i cant get it any lower.

Is there any other way to get it to 1:1 besides simply lowering the ram speed?

On a side note it is G Skill 2400MHz ram rated at 1.65v but due to me not liking that voltage i am running it a 1.6 and its working great. at 2400MHz its at 1:9 with the FSB.

Why do you want 1:1 ratio? That's like going back to the golden age with DDR2 and 775 platforms. :P Today, RAM is so fast, it doesn't even matter. For games there's no difference.

So that the ram doesn't need to wait for the FSB. or is it the other way around? anyways my plan was to simply downclock the ram and hit it with a 1:1 Ratio then overclock the cpu the old fashoned way. but it turns out its completely gimped and you cant do that. so i just set it to 2400MHz and left it there. This is a friends build and i am using a LGA 775 Mobo/CPU and i did this so i figured it could still be done. guess not.
