im running"can you run it" programme and every bit is passing apart from Pixel Shader 1.1! is it vital that i have this pixel shader?? or can the game run without it? ive just installed 1GB RAM on my Toshiba Satalitte Pro A60 (yes OLD school!) so im upgrading to higher demanding games and this is in the way!

it says on the net you can download it! But can you?! if not what graphics card would i need fo Toshiba Satalite Pro A60 (EN)

Cheers

If the game requires it, then you need to have it....but you can't really upgrade the video card on a laptop, so if your card doesn't support shader 1.1, then your pretty much SOL. EDIT: I should say...the game might run...but it will look awful, you'll have all kinds of weird artifacting and stuff, if it decides to run at all.

Is the game Guitar Hero 3? I had the same problem with a 8500gt but doesn't look bad at all. I think its recommended but it isn't necessary.
