Alright about 2 weeks ago my hard-drive crashed, i think because of some bs i dll'd.
A friend came by to take a look and told me my HDD had no damage but did crash and lose all of my data.He suggested a re-install of my OS (Win2000) and that would fix everything.After i did everything was back in order.
Yesterday i booted my pc and i had a error telling me he could not find my HDD.I tried to reboot in safe mode which didn't work, shut down the pc and a couple of hours later it booted up as if nothing happened.
Now i want to format my pc to hopefully fix all of this but it seems i can't.When i try to use a bootdisk of win98SE i cant find my main drive (C: ) and when i try to boot with a WinXP or Win2000 cd the format tells me at the end of 100% my HDD is defect.
Now i don't know what the hell is going on here and hope somebody could help me out.
