Looking for a new PC game to play, but I am honestly having a lot of trouble finding one. I checked through some forum posts but they went against some of my guidelines. There are some games coming out later that look pretty good, but they're taking awhile to come out. Here are my preferences. Really I am just having a hard time and would like some help finding a good game to play.

  • No Blizzard Games.
  • Must be available on Steam.
  • No Minecraft-esque Indie games.
  • Science Fiction and Fantasy are among my favorite.
  • No Half-Life games. Already got 'em.
  • I dislike turn based.
  • RTS' and RPG's are probably my two favorite genres.

Skyrim, Path of Exile, Torchlight 2, Dungeon Siege 3 (highly recommend, you can also try a demo)

Sounds like you're being picky, yet you gave a very vague description. PC practically has a million different games to play, particularly those of the RTS/RPG variety.

Why not State of Decay? Unique zombie-apocalypse action game with tons of RPG elements. A bit more of a casual take on the genre (not as many simulator elements, game isn't super complicated), and it's $5 on Steam right now.

Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 aren't bad choices as far as RPG's go...(though probably better played on PS3 if that option is available to you)
