Hello, 40 minuts ago i was playing Facebook Games (FarmVIle 2) with my computer and suddently from nowhere it made a terrible lag/crash noise coming out of my speakers until i turn it off so i turned it off and turned it back on it turned on itself but in my monitor was black screen and my keyboard + mouse didnt have any green light on them but the pc turned on fine and fans everything so what can be the problem?

i even let it 20 minutes to rest but it did the same again and if im correct the fans are making more noise now..

my rig:
cpu: i7 3770k
gpu: 7850 2gb

ram: corsair vengeance 8gb

mobo: asus maximus v gene

Its crashing cause of ram probably being overheated or for some other reason. Try what FelipeInside said.

Also get techpowerup gpu-z and cpu tools and monitor if any of them are over-heating.

@kavvrick: @FelipeInside:

there is one problem, i cannot open the pc like when i open my computer it turns on but the monitor doesnt get any signal from it same goes for my keyboard and mouse.. so i cant use any software but i guess it can be ram cause i've removed the Spreader from my corsair vengeance in order to put my noctua nh-d14 cpu fan..and as i said it crashed while doing a huge buzzing noise from my speakers in order to end that buzing noise i had to turn it off.

oh and also at that time im pretty sure my cpu was with highest core being 48C so cpu is not the issue cause im always running coretemp and checking temperatures.

Like I originally said, it just needed a memory reseat.

Do you have a good power surge protector board on it?

Get RAM heatsinks if you don't already have them. They clip right on them, easy peasy.

@Netherscourge:

I've removed my ram heatsinks in order to feet my Cooler in the case do you think that could been an overheat? still it doesnt make any sense how a reseat fixed it

- also where do i get only Heatsinks ? preferably low profile ofc

Decent as in how much did you pay for it? I always spend at least $80 upwards on power protection for my PC.

RAM is always unstable (used to be a lot more 20 years ago). The PC might have had a minor surge which put it in that state. Reseating the RAM fixes the issue most of the time.

$25 isn't a surge protector, it's just a power board.

Get a good ****** brand. Their higher models even guarantee you for $$$ amounts connected to the power board, at least in Australia they do.

^ from those images you can see the voltage is also less in your old pics also. If you disabled power saving states in your BIOS, like the S1-S6 states, it would likely prevent the computer from adjusting the voltage automatically. It would be good to manually enable the power states and not just have it set to AUTO (having it set at auto it may not have them all enabled). Depends on ur motherboard though.

I have my cpu overclocked and use all the powerstates except S7... and my voltage automatically down volts when its not being used... but my clock speed actually stays at its overclocked speed 4500mhz. Its not really what clock speed it shows but more the amount of volts being used what will determine your power usage. In your new pics your voltage seems locked, even though your cpu usage is practically idle, so something is preventing it from power saving. Maybe download CPUID Hardware Monitor and see if your voltage is also locked in there also.
