Dsogaming reports :

In the latest issue of Edge, Hello Games’ Sean Murray confirmed that No Man’s Sky will be coming to the PC after the PS4 release. While the game will be timed exclusive on PS4 for a while, there is no doubt that it will hit our platforms at a later date (though we don’t know whether it will be three, six, nine or twelve months).

As Sean Murray told EDGE, Hello Games always had PC in mind. And while Murray describes his game console-y, he did shed some light on that term:

“I actually got in a bit of trouble for saying that we wanted the game to deel really console-y” says Murray. “We’ve always had PC in mind but in my head (console-y) means solid framerate and immediate controls. I think a PC game can be ‘console-y’ and it’s intended as a compliment, but I get in trouble for saying it.”

So there you have it everyone; official confirmation that No Man’s Sky is coming to the PC after the game’s release on PS4.

Kudos to NeoGAF for spotting it!

"Feel really console-y?" Did this interview happen after the guy was struck in the head by a large object?

no mans sky was always confirmed for PC... since day 1. they never came out and officially announced it, but every time it was asked, the answer was a soft "yes"

no big suprise here.

Not really hyped. Have a major feelings it's going to look much cooler than it actually is.

Console game means it's designed with the lowest common denominator in mind. There is a reason hardcore strategy and simulation games never make it to console and it has nothing to do with the controller and lack of buttons.

Go play "The Last of Us" and see if it's designed for the lowest common denominator.

You have no idea. I just finished it last night and it's now one of my favourite games of all times. A masterpiece actually.

I really hope it comes to PC so those that don't have a console can enjoy it, but knowing Naughty Dog with the Uncharted series, I don't see it happening sadly. Shame, because it would work great with a mouse and keyboard.

I tried Uncharted 2 and could only play 2 hours or so.

People kinda expected a X universe or elite type thing will probably be disappointing I think.

If you haven't got hand crafted stuff, you basically have, a mess. And unless you have depth and complexity within that mess for creativity, it is just, a mess.

I guess these types of games are not your style then.

The last of us is great but it's definately designed for last gen hardware, so yes, it is.

When he said lowest common denominator I don't think he meant hardware wise.

I played the remastered PS4 edition and the graphics are top notch. But anyway, graphics by themselves don't make a game, they just help the immersion factor.

When you said "lowest common denominator" I thought you were referring to the gamers console crowd, and that console games should be "dumber" for that crowd.

If I understood wrong, I apologize.

Actually he wants to say ; the game is going to be better on PC but I won't say so . Sony won't be happy if we did , because they already paid enough to sites like gamespot for full week coverage of our game .

Probably , just another false advertisement from Sony . "Experience that only PS4 can provide" kinda thing .
