Hey I'm building a new computer next week as this one is getting a bit long in the tooth for me, here is the proposed build:

Case:CM Storm Scout

http://www.ebuyer.com/165238-cm-storm-scout-case-120mm-and-2x-140mm-fans-included-sgc-2000-kkn1

Power Supply: Corsair 500W CX V2(Bought it a few months ago for my current PC)

http://www.ebuyer.com/278634-corsair-500w-cx-v2-psu-cmpsu-500cxv2uk

Motherboard: Asus M4A78L AM3+

http://www.ebuyer.com/269076-asus-m5a78l-usb3-amd-socket-am3-8-channel-hd-audio-atx-motherboard-m5a78l-usb3

Processor: AMD FX-6 6100 3.3Ghz

http://www.ebuyer.com/287682-amd-fx-6-6100-black-edition-6-core-3-3ghz-socket-am3-8mb-l3-fd6100wmgusbx

Graphics card: PowerColor HD 6850 1GB

http://www.ebuyer.com/321991-powercolor-hd-6850-1gb-gddr5-pci-e-graphics-card-axp6850-1gbd5-dh

Operating System: Windows 7 Premium 64bit

Hard drive: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB(Again bought it a few months ago for current PC)

Memory: Gskill 8GB RipjawsX

http://www.ebuyer.com/264750-g-skill-8gb-2x4gb-ddr3-1600mhz-ripjawsx-memory-kit-cl9-9-9-9-24-1-5v-f3-12800cl9d-8gbxl

Optical Drive: Samsung SH222AB 22x

Total: £485.06 (excluding the PSU and HDD which I already own as stated)

So what do you guys think? Is there anything you'd change/add? I'm on a budget of under £500 here. Would I also need to flash the BIOS to support the Bulldozer cpu? I've been out of the PC hardware side of things for quite a while so I'm really not sure on how this build looks!

Thanks.

(I had to take all of the links out because I kept getting errors? So frustrating.)

The amd fx 6 6100 is a bad bad decision. For starters buy this case, my brother has this case and about the same system as me, it's quiet, cool and easy to install. Cost:48 pounds

http://www.ebuyer.com/143854-antec-300-three-hundred-case-0761345-08300-3

Since you saved some money on your case you can buy a decent processor cost: 148 pounds

http://www.ebuyer.com/251595-intel-core-i5-2400-3-1ghz-socket-lga-1155-6mb-l3-cache-retail-bx80623i52400

A nice asus motherboard that goes with it. Cost : 70 pounds

http://www.ebuyer.com/265969-asus-p8h61-usb3-h61-socket-1155-8-channel-hd-audio-atx-motherboard-p8h61-usb3-r3-0

8gb of ram maybe nice but you're on a budget and you really don't need more than 4gb, however if the 17 pounds extra is no problem you can stick with your own choice Cost 20 pounds

http://www.ebuyer.com/173122-corsair-4gb-2x2gb-ddr3-1600mhz-pc3-12800-xms3-i5-memory-kit-cl9-9-9-9-24-1-65v-cmx4gx3m2a1600c9

Don't buy powercolor it's a crappy brand, buy a nice xfx card cost 123 pounds

http://www.ebuyer.com/290512-xfx-hd-6850-1gb-gddr5-dual-dvi-hdmi-displayport-pci-e-graphics-card-hd-685x-zndc

So that's pretty much it, a pc that's twice the power and better quality for the same money
