Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a monitor to have a dual monitor hookup with my laptop (My laptop has HDMI and VGA it looks like). I'm planning on spending around $130 or less (can be convinced to spend more for a quality product), and am looking for a decent quality 20'' monitor (I don't want bigger, but I can settle for a slightly smaller monitor, preferably a 16:9 or 10 aspect ratio). I plan on mostly using it for school, watching some tv, and maybe some day down the line playing games. I normally have a light on in my room when working, so it normally isn't very dark. Is there anything specific that I should watch out for or look for in a monitor?

The monitors I'm looking at right now are:

HP 2011x

Acer S200HLAbd

Dell E2011H (if they get more in stock at newegg, or try my luck somewhere else)

Anyone have experience with any of these? Or know of something better? Any help would be appreciated!

PS It seems whenever I see a dual hookup, the monitor is always on the right side, can this be configured, or is that just how it works?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824260104

add a coupon, this one is pretty slim with 1/2 inch borders.

You can set the second monitor to the left, top, bottom, top left(to avoid your cursor from slipping to the screen) @ screen resolution menu.

Thanks, I'll take a look at it!

Good to know I can change monitor placement.

May as well get a 22" since they're more common

Are 22" worth the extra money? I would rather spend a little more for a higher quality but smaller monitor.

I got a 24" Asus for like $140 and it works awesome, so happy with my purchase.

I dont really think so, usually better monitors mean going up in size too.
