What manufacturer is it? I'm just guessing, but i sounds like its an Asus or Alienware. Anyways, I hope you have loads of fun with it.

the 6990 if im not mistaken should be 2X 6970 in crossfire which would be about 1.85-1.9 performance. Though this is laptop parts so im not 100% sure.

Jiggly is right there, the 6990m is one core, it doesnt have a single resemblance to the 6990.

Not many laptops have dual GPU's, only Alienware, ROG series, some Sager/Clevo and 1 MSI laptop.
