New bundle, crashes when trying direct3d applications.

I bought an overclockers bundle, but whenever I try to run a game (skyrim , dota 2 ect) the game crashes after any menus (crashes while trying to load the full games. after new game ect)

its windows 8.... but preview ect worked fine on my old computer.

Ati drivers are up to date (6950)

Is the overlock messing it up? I dont want to resort to setting to default because they did the overclock for me.

Its not stable then, whoever "they" is, ask them to fix it.
