I'm looking for a free MMORPG to play, as right now I don't feel like dishing out the monthly fee for WoW. Are there any good ones to check out and if so can you give me the website's URL and little info about it? Thanks.
Haven't played it, but I hear Guild Wars is pretty decent. You have to buy the game first, but no monthly fees.
Might also want to look into Pirates of the Caribbean, you can play for free on a limited account. You won't get access to everything, and I believe you can only get to a certain level, but its pretty decent.

sword of the new world was alright for a free mmo - its mostly korean players playing it.
But what i liked about it, was intead of controlling 1 character u controll a party of 3 and u can get special characters and swap people in and out...reminded me of ff12 combat system. cept much more grinding and a high learning curve
Although I wasn't particulary looking for a game, this thread actually convinced me to buy Guild Wars over the weekend. So far, pretty fun, so thanks guys.
