Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Has stopped working (help

So i just gotNeed for Speed Hot Pursuit off steam and install it, It gave me that error so i reinstalled it yet no luck,

My drivers are updated

My specs are

Gtx 480

Core i7 930 (not overclocked yet)

6 gb ram

Windows 7

I don't have the steam version so I can't say if it'll work for you, but Hot Pursuit had a patch that resolved problems it had running on multi core processors. You could try getting that patch and see if it works with the Steam version.guynamedbilly

This fixed it for me... hope it helps: For multi-core users, change your processor affinity to 2. To do this, Run Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit then alt+tab out of the game. Right click NFS11.exe and set affinity to 2 (as in only choose Cores 0 and 1, untick 2 and 3) Let me know :)FelipeInside

Damn, that sux. Google the error and there are a few webpages with multiple solutions for each error...maybe u get lucky...FelipeInside
