I have that case! I love it. I like your cable setup - running everything behind the motherboard tray. How do you put the side of the case back on? I've tried what you've done but the side of the case doesn't go on very well.

lol it runs like a dream, i play all my games on high settings, counter strike source, warcraft 3, i also downloaded the wow 10 day thing and crysis demo and everything plays perfectly on high setting, i have to get new games :P

for the case i acually ripped out the flimys plastic wire router clip things thats suppose to be on the right of the motherboard because they where very useless and annoying and really got in the way, (i ripped them out of frustrationa and anger with my bare hands)

both covers for the case front and back go on the same, you line up the notches into the holes, slightly about an inch back and u slide it forward towards the front, you also have to make sure that if u manage ur cables behind then you have to make the cables flat as possible, i made my main power connecter by itsself and kinda flatened out all the wires in it (spread the wires out in the tubeing) so that the side would go on cause they dont give that much room to have wires bulging out.

i still have to go out and buy two 3pin fan power connectors since i dont have enough for all 7 fans, i might even get a 80mm fan for the back of my mobo, and maybe an aftermarket cpu fan/heatsink

this is also my first time building a computer

windows 7 runs perfectly and it has many cool features and applications, the back round and theme you can customize a ton so it looks really cool and so far no problemes yet, if u do install it, it takes a long time so it might seem like your computer froze but its not during the installation process.

these are the videos i used to learn how to put a pc together and pick out parts it got me really interested in the subject, i practiced one time before by taking apart 2 old pc's from my basement and taking them apart and putting them together

Hi Congradulations daGAWDly1 !!!

That has to be one of the best computers I have ever seen!!!

The 690 case is excellent for high end components and overclocking.

That is very amazing what you have done with the wires. In fact,it

looks like the computer is from the future and runs wireless!!!

Crazy what kind of power you can get for $750 nowadays... anyway, very nice job on the cables. Why not get a windowed case to show it off? :P

thanks everyone i really appreciated the awesome comments. i might get the cooler master 690 side window thing because when i powered up the fans on my side panel they made noise :P and that one seems to not make any from the reviews, I'm glad they gave customers the option on that and i won't have to get into case modding lol

here is my shopping cart from newegg.com when i bought it, some prices might have changed slightly and i got the free windows operating system here

Go to computer, right click and then properties. Then see your windows experience index and scores. Update if you need to.

Well, you can get 2x 64GB SSD's for raid, but they're still pretty expensive. They do help out alot with load times, and each has 128MB of cache. But IMO, you should wait for the price to drop. Next year, you should be able to get SSD's and Bluray drives for about half what they cost now.

That looks really good, I'm getting the CM 690 as well for my new rig (which arrives in a day or two), so I'll have to keep that cable management tip in mind :D
