spiderman movie franchised games (though spiderman 1 wasnt "that bad")
im on a roll here you want more examples?
the only decent movie - games have been LOTR related and those had to follow the book more than the movies. as a result i cant condone any movie - game compliments at all in recent memory. they folks want the games to compliment the movies and as a result their budgets suck, their talent tends to be 2nd rate on the development team and finally the deadlines and goals tend to be rushed and ham-fisted.
as much as they would be awesome the videogame industry doesnt work at the same pace as the videogame industry. and as a result they wont get very close to one another without someone releasing a game long after the fact which would completely ruin the intent of making the game in the first place.
as a result movie tie-in games will always be mediocre <-> bad and nothing will change that beyond movies getting delayed releases in the area of months
