Most Anticipated FPS? *POLL*

This has probably been done before but we could always use another:D

I say Crysis because the multiplayer sounds kickass, and it has amazing graphics and physics.

i'd have to say that Bioshock is my most anticipated game, hell i just want to play some games designed for directx 10!

UT since 1999 blew the FPS market away. I must admit I was highly skeptical about 2003 - then that blew the market away..then 2004...

I really hope UT3 is a killer! It has to be...it's the return of the Necris! Boy I miss them!

Probably because Halo 3 is an xbox 360 exclusive game. This is the PC games forum after all.

It's on the "Other (Specify) option. I didn't think people were hyping Episode 2 that much anymore. Considering the delays and the removal of the Black Box, I know I'm not.

That's exactly why I want it! I loved Far Cry infinitely more than Half Life 2 or Doom 3 (the AAA games that competed with it), it simply bleww them out of the water, even though they were all good. I was hoping for a Far Cry expansion, but then we get a spiritual successor. Considering the success of SupCom as the spiritual successor to Total Annihilation, I have high hopes. Honestly if this weren't Crytek, I don't think I would give a s**t. Graphics = nothing.

If crysis is anything like far cry, then theres been alot of wasted posting on this forum, cause that game sucked. Most likely it will too. Great graphics with boring multiplayer. Graphics aren't everything. Bring good gameplay back to FPS for christs sake.19chevelle72

Far Cry was heralded for its single player campaign not for the MP. As of the first patch, the mp was just average but that wasn't what the game was about. If you're looking for solid MP instead of amazing single player story-telling, gameplay, and setting, then go for something like Quake Wars. If you want the things described play all the way through Far Cry again and you'll be psyched that Crytek is opening the doors for its spiritual successor.
