well im about to get an LCD Monitor about 17" inches but im confused as to what kind of Screen Filter to get for eye protection i mean the ones which reflect off rays emmitted from the monitor screen i have however searched the net typically there are three kinds of them for LCD Anti glare,Privacy and screen protection which one of them to get or is there any other kind of this type please post THX

I've never used one. Which one you want depends on what you want it for. If you don't know then chances are you don't need one.

LCD's emit such a low level of radiation that I would not bother with the filter.

IMHO you dont need it, save your money.

In terms of things like background radiation which we receive everyday from everything, there's nothing to worry about. It's like the people who still think cell phones give you cancer. It's just something that hasn;t been proven
