I have a question on pools. Every time i try to make a pool in minecraft it is un even and there are waves. So how do you make a even pool?

You'll need multiple springs, you can make an infinite well with a 2x2 square one block deep and two springs placed diagnally from eachother. Now for your main pool if you want to make it deeper then one block what you can do it just place a layer of dirt one block below where you want your water level to be, place your springs and then remove the dirt.

Dump buckets of water on the spots that are lower.

You put plenty of buckets of water were you notice that it's un-even, until the surface is smooth, and doesn't have any un-even edges or waves.

I dunno how to explain better then that.

Lets say you have a line that is 9 tiles long

(W mark where you need to put the water the)

or you could put water in each:

WWWWWWWWW
