So I just ordered this Black Friday deal from newegg and need to choose a graphics card to go along with it that's compatible with everything. I haven't yet decided how much I want to spend exactly, but I would like a recomended card at the following price ranges

  • $100 and under
  • $150
  • $200
  • $300

Like I said I haven't decided what price I want to pay, but it's one of these. Any info is appreciated. thanks!

$100: GTS 250 $150: GTX 460 768mb $200: GTX 460 1gb $300: Nothing really, get a GTX 470 or 6870 for $270 and overclock them.

Why didn't you go with a quad core? :| Case looks pretty sweet though.

This is just how the deal came, no customizing.

I'll probably be switching it out pretty quickly though.

But that's like $200 wasted.:?

An i5 760 wouldn't have cost much more.

As far as the graphics card options go, there are many good ones.

-under $100- AMD 4850, Nvidia GTS 250 (if you can find one that cheap)

-$100 to $150- AMD 5770, Nvidia GTS 450

-$150 to $180- Nvidia GTX 460 768mb

-$180 to $220- AMD 6850, Nvidia GTX 460 1GB

-$220 to $300- AMD 6870, Nvidia GTX 470

I'll probably end up selling it the moment it comes in and use the money to help buy another.
