looking for an online shooter

hi i just bought a new gaming pc. the only fps im playing right now on it is counterstrike but i want something new. i been thinking about tf2

people gona probably say cod4 but i already have it on 360

of newer games TF2 is a good bet I think... cant think of alot of new shooters with memorable multiplayer... well besides cod 4 ;)

well perhaps Crysis warhead, but the origonal was quite a lackluster...

bad times I think... I seriously cant think of any good online shooters O.o

Call of Duty: United Offensive. Still one of the best MP games I've ever played. If you want a new game to take advantage of your PC, then go for TF2.

• FEAR Combat
• Warhead
• Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

no crysis was not bad because of lag, just very... uninspired... sort of a "me too" game...

the weapons felt generic, and damage seemed random...

diddnt help that the maps were poorly made, and the suits special abilitys were largely unused...

in some ways it reminded me of battlefirld 2... just smaller, and more streamlined.

The Orange Box ( includes TF2 and STEAM), Battlefield 2 Complate, Battlefield 2142 Deluxe, Call of Duty 4 ( if you want to since you alredy own it ), Call of Duty 1 OR 2 ( yeah these are still popuar online too ), Halo, Crysis Warhead

and there are better games for online other than FPS, but thats what you like.

Its awesome for teamplay and tactics!

I see you play COD4 on Xbox. The game is much more tactical/skillfull on the PC. Especially if you get into clan wars with the mod PROMOD.

TF2 is also fairly good, I haven't played it in awhile, but it was a fairly fun, fast past FPS if you like that style of FPS.

COD5 will be out in a month or 2, there are demos out for it at the moment, on Xbox and the PC one will be released soon.

It really does depend on what style of FPS game you want, Fast paced, Tactical, etc.
