I don't recall much details but I played the demo at the time. Really enjoyed it but forgot all about it. It was a TBS game that played much like the battle sequences in games like X-COM. I think it was sort of post apocalyptic and levels were randomly generated each time you play. I believe this was a big thing at the time according to PC Gamer who covered it and gave the demo away. It must have been about 12-15 years ago. Anyone have any ideas?

Mmm the only good TBS I remember from back then 1990ish was X-Com, Civilizations and Master of Orion.

But this might help you:

Cheers, can't see it on there though. :( It's similar in looks and gameplay to Jagged Alliance 2 by the looks of things but had randomly generated levels. Still, I've never played JA2 so perhaps I'll give that a try as I've had no luck tracking it down. The link also informed me that Incubation (which I loved) is part of a series and I've never tried any of the others. Reminded me I need to play through Chaos Gate again too so thank you. ;)

Cool, glad I could be of some assistance at least. I'll try rack my brain to see if I can think of anything else.

That's a good idea. Don't forget the awesome 1.13 mod.

Silent Storm is pretty fun too, btw.
