I was looking at some laptops but I dont know what to look for. I want something not to expensive but I also dont want to have to worry about games not running properly. Any recommendations?

My recommendation:

By a gaming desktop, and a work laptop... because it would perform better for gaming, and probably be cheaper... because the only laptops "decent" for gaming cost ~$1200+... and any laptops good for playing modern games (released recently) range to thousands of dollars...

With a gaming desktop/work laptop, you can get a gaming rig that can max most things (recent included) for only ~$700-$1000 (depending on parts/ whether or not your are building yourself)... and a work laptop for anywhere from $400-$600...

just get a laptop now and wait for onlive if budget is an issue otherwise I say just get both a laptop and gaming desktop then remote desktop to your desktop to play games pending u are on a fast internet.
