League of Legends...login queue over 3 hours. Really?

I wanted to play a game this morning, but it looks like Riot has other plans. What the hell. :|

I got in this morning almost instantly. Sorry to hear that. Stuff like that is why I never log out of LoL in the first place.:P

They've been having problems all week due to a recent patch.. definitely not the norm, but it sure sucks. What I've been doing is logging into LoL way ahead of time and leaving the client open. Doesn't use up enough resources to cause a problem.

Think the servers have been having issues for the past several day's.

It's been on : Calculating over the past hour and theres oever 20k in que, ill just play tomorrow, i think i should expect lots of server shut downs

They are shutting down servers, they know that once DotA 2 is free to play in a couple of months, LoL is going to die, so they are maximising their profits now.

Not everyone likes Dota 2. Even the HoN players I know don't really like it.

I can understand most LoL players not liking DotA 2, DotA tends to be too hard for LoL casual kiddies. As for the HoN people, HoN is so dead and the communiy so NO FUN ALLOWED that they feel like they got their own SIKRIT CLUB in there, and every new 'player' is basically a smurf.

I love posts like these, I've seen them in almost every LoL thread.

Lol. Feel free to feed your e-swag over a MOBA game. Dota 2 and LoL will co-exist peacefully, which is excellent because it offers more options if and when a player gets bored of a game, easy to switch. DOTA 2 is quite fun, but its just not as fun to me as LoL. I find the champions and the aesthetics to be more inviting. Although I wish LoL had the dialogue that DOTA 2 heroes have.
