Last Remnant worth 10 dollars?

Is it? The harsh reviews given by reviewers make me want to stay away.....>.>

Should I buy it or just get torchlight?

The Last Remant for PCgotgood scores: 8.0 here on GS. The battle system is very fun, but don't expect characters and story in the same level as the good old Snes jRPGs.

Dunno... gave it a try.. looked kinda grindy to me... looks great, but nothing new under the sun. Anyway, if yiu are into JRPG's, for 19 dollars you should give it a try.siafni

i can't think of any good reasons not to get it other then its very diffcult in places so go slow and use your brain

I thought it was terrible but I am not into RPG's.

For that price, I'd say get it, but I may be a little bit biased towards The Last Remnant. ;)

The battle mechanics are pretty complicated, which can cause some of the later battles and optional bosses to be very difficult. I stuck with the game though and used sources such as The Last Remnant Wiki to understand exactly how everything works. After this, the game became pretty darn addicting, but at the same time, it became fairly easy. The game has lots of interesting characters and beautiful scenery. In all honesty though, the game is more about the gameplay, so don't go in expecting the most amazing storyline.

For that much, definately. I paid $20 for it and I enjoyed it. Be warned though, it is somewhat challenging.
