Killing Floor: Gimmick, Masterpiece, or Average?

The new source game being released exclusively on steam. It's developed by an independent group... what do you guys think? i can't tell if it's gonna be a masterpiece or if its gonna be crap!

You mean the mod for Half Life 2? Or was it UT 2004? Can't remember. They're releasing that as a game? As in pay for it?

Anyway I remember playing that mod. It was hard as heck just to pass the TUTORIAL. Mostly because it was hard to know where you were aiming. The enemies were hard too, but it was top notch quality.

Pretty sure this is going to be UT2k4 as it was originally a UT2k4 mod. The screens also support this. I don't think it looks too bad, looks to be a more tactical/hardcore l4d.
