i finally have enough money to buy myself a laptop. the games i plan on buying are Crysis, and Spore. so since i am new to the PC gaming community I'm wondering what type of laptop you would recommend for hardcore gaming, but the laptop can still play all the games installed at high graphics(not highest),still run perfectly fine, and still have extra room for a couple more games

a desktop is a better idea thats all i'm saying. anyway, go with a dell xps 630 or 730 with the ATI Radeon HD3870 or HD4870 graphics card. I have that in my desktop along with 1TB of Harddrive (i know excessive), a quad core processor and a whole lot of other super stuff. just build it yourself on dell.com and if you have questions about hardware theres a forum for that hope i helped. :)

well the ATI card should do nicely. I have the HD3870 and my computer runs spore without hiccup on highest settings. *side note* I can run spore and watch a video on youtube at the same time.... anyway, yeah that graphics card and atleast 320-500 GB of Harddrive.

^^^ Yes, it will. That 9800M GTS card is pretty good. The core 2 duo 2.26GHz and 4GB of ram are also good. I would guess probably high on Crysis (maybe a couple medium).

This one is much better for games. 9800M is better than 8800M

Also has a faster processor
