on the Nvidia website they both show those graphics cards as having 112. I was just thinking of keeping the 8800gt I have now to save a little money, and then I can eventually buy another 8800gt and run both of them.

I wouldn't recommend a motherboard with a 750i chipset. They're great at first, but then things start going wrong... Plus, they can't handle a good cpu, good RAM, and 2 high power video cards. The only fix is a bios update that secretly raises the latency...

thats an original phenom, i wouldnt pay that much for it, plus it has a 9500gs, which is crap. the 8gb is overkill, hell, for a system like that, 4gb is overkill

TBH, i wouldn't pay more than 400-500 for that.

I figured the 9500gs was crap but im going to put my 8800gt in it instead and eventually I would run another 8800gt. I found this system at frys.com for so cheap b/c it says its a refurbished system, otherwise this same computer is going for like $850 at bestbuy. If there is something else you would recommend please let me know. I was looking to spend no more than $650 on just a decent gaming computer.

Have you considered buying some upgrades and using your existing case and harddrives? You can get an i7 920, a good motherboard, and some DDR3 RAM for about that price...

Wow you guys probably shouldnt be giving pc hardware advice, anyone who knows anything about video cards knows that the 9800gt is the EXACT sane card as the 8800gt so dont say anything unless you know the facts.
