Posted this in the Fallout game forum and got a reply, but for some strange reason I can't read the reply there so I thought I'd give it a shot here. Anyone know if it'll work with Win 7?

I use Windows 7 and Fallout runs just fine. I got the GOG version though if that makes any difference.

I believe it does. I recently picked up Fallout 2 from Steam and it works fine for Windows 7 64-bit. I do remember running into an issue initially though.

The game installed and ran fine with the exception of some "rainbow-like" graphical glitches, but I was able to find a fix after I googled the issue.

Steam is also selling the original Fallout, which I believe uses the same engine, at least it looks the same to me. Once I found the fix for that minor issue...

and picked up a high resolution patch, I can now run it at 1920 x 1200 perfectly.

Depends on where you bought it. Steam, Gog.com, or original retail version?

Have the retail version with the 1.1 patch installed.

I haven't heard anything about it not working... you may need to install it in compatibility mode or As Administrator though. Give it a shot. :) EDIT: Check this thread, some good suggestions there.

It should, altho you have to use the win 95 compatability mode, when you start it up, the colors should be a bit messed up, but alt+tab'bing out and in again should fix it.
