IPS panel help

Which monitor would you guys recommend for a HD7870?

it will be used for general internet use, movies, and of course gaming.

ideally i'd like to find a 16:9, but I suppose i could be open to a 16:10

could a 7870 run a 1440p monitor? cause, that one Dell is pretty attractive.

any opinions on this?

lil concerned with the 8ms response time but other than that it seems perfect. anyone have any experience gamming on this?

also saw this one

anyone see any reason to avoid this? i can get it for $161 w/ free shipping on amazon :o

I'd recommend more like a 7950 for 1440p, but a 7870 shouldn't do badly, it just won't last as long.

I dont know about the last one, but I remember reading that Asus monitors had problems with obvious back light bleeding. Things may have improved in more recent models though, im not sure. 

I heard that Dell models are very good, I am actually considering purchasing the Dell U2412M since it seems to get great reviews. 

you don't mind 16:10? will you watch movies and t.v. with it also? not a problem?

is it a big jump from 1080p to 1200p?

I also considered that but wasn't sure about the whole 16:10 thing
