Right now i have an ASUS P5NSLI Motherboard ( One of the begenning ones for the Core 2 Duo.) Im curious, does anyone know if the Intel Quad Core's work on this Motherboard? ( the socket type is LGA775)
edit: Also yes i know that Quad Core is not needed right now, but i want to know for the future.  My next upgrade is to be my video card.

No. Quad core is long away, but no motherboard now will be compatible. Some will through a BIOS update, but for most motherboards, you'll have to replace it.
