When I put in my GTA IV disc to install the game, the autorun screen that comes up looks very strange and glitchy. There's some numbers and letters at top and the option to install etc. are completely blank. It installs fine, but I find this strange. Is this the same with you? Why does it look this strange?

No, as far as I can remember I didn't encounter this strange "glitch" at installing, everything went smoothly. No idea what could be causing it though.

Listen the autorun screen that comes up look strange......If you haven't installed the game. I have two copies of the game and it looks the same with both of them. Surely someone must have this weird glitch when seeing the autorun screen. It looks similar to this, although with letters, as yiou can see in this picture with another with the same problem:

Listen its the autorun screen that comes up when you first install the game? Surely people who have the game, can take just a little of their time to answer this question as it is bothering me very much!

Maybe no one is answering you do to not being able to replicate your issue. Have you tried just exploring the DVD and finding the setup.exe? As well, it could be a number of reasons why you have an issue from graphical errors to security bundled with the disc. If no one answers you here, why not go to the official forums for the game? Either way, stop bumping your thread.

Why do you care if you say it installed fine?

It's an odd error to say the least. Again, have you tried running the setup.exe directly?
