I'm debating when to play Baldur's gate for the first time.

I'm really liking the way Dragon Age looks. I think it is going to be a landmark in modern RPGs, but I never played BioWare's Grand Champion series, Baldur's Gate. I really wat to play this now, so should I play BG before or after Dragon gae, to compare them.

If you already have it I think that you should play it.

Beforehand. Although personally, I would play Baldurs Gate 2. If I recall correctly you weren't able to run in part 1, and that made getting around really, really, really damn slow.

I'd play it and see if you like it, it feels very dated now but it still has a ton of what makes it so good.
